Michigan Online Resources for Educators (MORE) is a new version of the old Michigan Teachers' Network (MTN). It is being brought back into existence with the cooperation of the Library of Michigan, Wayne State University, the Michigan Dept. of Ed, and ILMS.

Even though the name implies that is is for teachers, it has resources of great interest to librarians and to parents.

Point out the search box and the buttons for Content Expectations and Browse Subjects. For this demo, we don't have time to show all the features, but have them click on Content Expectations, then on View Science K-8 2007. Let them open one of the "plus" marks and see how it drills down to specific Grade Level Content Expectations (GLCE's). If they continue opening the plus marks, eventually they'll get to an entry with a small laptop icon. Clicking on that will take them to a website related to the content.

If you have time, let them play with this resource for a few minutes.

No exercises for this one.
