CEU Information
From Mlc
Michigan Library Consortium MeL Training Materials
Rev. 8/08 /SR
The Michigan Library Consortium issues free CEU certificates, recognized by the Library of
Michigan, for all of the MeL Databases classes.
To receive certificates, class participants need to fill in the provided sign in sheet. All
participants must PRINT their names LEGIBLY, then sign their signatures and provide the last
four digits of their Social Security numbers. Once all the information is correctly filled in, the
trainer will give each participate his/her CEU certificate for the class.
This is a sample sign in sheet that is included in each trainer's packet shipment:

The Michigan Department of Education has not recognized the MLC MeL Database classes for SBCEU's.
In most instances, schools can arrange for SBCEU's through the local ISD, but it can take up to 7
weeks for the paperwork to be submitted. Therefore, it is critical to work with Suzanne Robinson
at MLC to have the appropriate paperwork submitted to MDE on time.
